Come for the whole weekend or join us for a day!
This will be a great time to spend time together and get to know your GRACE family better while we enjoy God's beautiful creation!

A huge "THANK YOU!!" to Ed and Michelle Ford for being generous and inviting the Church to use their land for our campout!

WHEN:
We plan to begin arriving on August 1st and enjoying ourselves in the mountains until the late afternoon on Sunday, August 4th

WHERE: 8014 Manhattan Rd, Red Feather Lakes, CO 80545
(map & directions below!)
We will be on the Ford's private property in Red Feathers! It is a beautiful location close to lakes and many places to hike, take a walk, and chill around the campfire! We will be at 8640 ft elevation. Plenty of Space to park RVs and set up tents!

THE DRIVE:
The drive is easy on well-maintained roads (some dirt) and we'll only be 2 hours away!
GOOD TO KNOW:
-
We will be in Bear, Deer, Elk, Moose, and Mountain Lion areas. [Ed has seen many a moose and deer around his land and there is a bear that likes the grease trap on his grill in the springtime!]
-
You are responsible for your own family's meals.
-
There will be no running water/RV hookups so please keep that in mind.
-
Cars are asked to be parked by the restroom in the gravel “parking lot”!
(once unloaded) -
There is a porta-potty-type restroom on the property.
PACKING ITEMS TO REMEMBER:
Basics include a tent or RV, water, lantern or flashlight, sleeping bags, and food/snacks for your family. Other packing items to keep in mind are bug spray, chairs, blankets, pillows, games, cooler, camera, sunscreen, etc.
THINGS TO DO:
-
Fellowship
-
Hiking (National Forest right next to the campsite!)
-
Star gazing
-
Nature walks
-
Kayaks, canoes, or floating tubes are able to be put on Molly Lake which can be accessed by hiking through Ed's land for about a mile and a half or by driving/walking a road and over a hill to the lake.
-
You can swim in Molly Lake but it will be cold!
-
Fishing is open at Molly Lake (we aren't 100% sure there are fish here) or at the Bellaire Lake which is down the road from the campsite. Bellaire Lake is a cold water lake that has $ 5-day pass fee and has paved sidewalks, picnic grills, and lots of fish(We saw a ton jumping when we checked it out!)

Go north on 1-25 to Owl Canyon RD. West (Exit 281) for about 6.5 miles
